How Mysterium was born

Eight successful concerts and counting! Mysterium was born out of Antonio Artese's doctoral research at the University of California at Santa Barbara where he wrote his thesis on the preludes of Russian pianist and composer, Aleksander Scriabin. Also part of Scriabin's work is the Prometheus - Poem of Fire, an epic production that was envisioned to combine colored light and sound according to a 'synesthetic' color coded organ.  Today, Mysterium adds the olfactory dimension to the multisensorial experience, dynamic palettes of multicolored lights accompany three moments of the concert BLUE, RED, and GREEN, each with their own scentscape guiding the mood and capturing the attention of the listener.  Mysterium is ideally suited theatres, but also to unusual and intimate venues for 25-250 attendees.
